by Jeffrey Holiday

On a Saturday morning in November 2019, bioGraph visited Chinatown for an On the Corner story workshop with high schoolers enrolled in Project Vision and Chicago Rises. On the way home, we ran into Jeffrey Holiday at the corner of Cermak and Wentworth. He plans to write a book called The Chicago Story. We conducted an impromptu interview with Jeffrey. He’s homeless and alternates 30 nights at the Pacific Garden Mission shelter and 30 nights under the Red Line. We created On the Corner because we believe that everyone has a story, and by listening to others, we realize our common humanity. Please consider donating to The Great Chicago Food Depository to help people like Jeffrey.
