Biograph LLC (“Biograph,” “we,” “us”) builds private storytelling tools and custom books. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it for biographbook.com, related lead forms, and the Biograph App at app.biographbook.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit (name, email, phone) when you request a commission, download a whitepaper, or ask for support.
- Account and profile information if you use the Biograph App (for example sign-in identifiers and display name).
- User content you create or upload in the App—photos, voice recordings, transcripts, captions, and book drafts. Biograph staff and systems can access this content as needed to operate the App, provide support, and produce your books and related services.
- Usage and device data such as app diagnostics, crash logs, approximate device type, and basic analytics needed to keep the product reliable.
- Payment-related information processed by Stripe when you purchase prints or commissions through the App. We do not store full card numbers on Biograph servers; card data is handled by Stripe under its privacy policy.
How we use information
- To provide and improve commissions, printing, and the App—including reviewing and working with the photos, audio, transcripts, and drafts you upload so we can build your biograph.
- To respond to inquiries and schedule consultations.
- To send transactional messages (confirmations, account notices).
- To protect security, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not use your stories or media to train public AI models for unrelated third parties.
- We do not show advertising networks inside the App. Our business is commissions, prints, and artifacts—not attention ads.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers who help us operate Biograph (for example hosting, email delivery, Stripe for payments, analytics, and print fulfillment), and only as needed for those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect Biograph, our authors, or the public.
Separately from Biograph’s access above: when you invite collaborators or share a biograph link, that content is also visible to the people you choose according to your sharing settings. Sharing controls do not limit Biograph’s ability to access content needed to deliver the service.
Retention and deletion
We keep information as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, resolve disputes, and meet legal requirements. You may request account deletion and removal of personal information through the App or by emailing info@biographbook.com.
Children
Biograph is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
